UFO's

We had a few finish up some long awaited projects...

Sheri Wells got us started with 2 of her finishes --
telling us that sometimes when you start a project it sometimes
ends up smaller than what you had in mind when you started.

Then she told us that when she bought this project she loved
it. and now that its finally finished not so much. Has
that happened to you?

Liz McVey -- ABC quilt -- Prize -- Smallest finish

Pat Winther -- pillow -- Prize -- oldest finish

Quilt Walk 2014
July 18-19
sponsored by Twin Falls Downtown Merchants
It's a family event! Come visit downtown Twin Falls and check out all of the quilting talent in the local area.
Merchants will be displaying quilts both inside and outside of their businesses.
Stitchin'Time is bringing in 3 trunk shows from Buckboard Quilts.
  • God Bless America Touring Quilts
  • Food for Body and Soul feature 22" x 22" quilts
  • Children Hope for Tomorrow quilts 9"12"
There will be approx. 120-160 of these quilts on display here at Stitchin'Time. Each quilt will have a description and a price on them. They will be priced between $15mand $100. All of the sales from these quilts will be donated to the Idaho Food Bank.
Buckboard Quilts will also send Centennial Stitches Oklahoma History in Quilts coffee table books, and signed copies of their 1905 Cookbook to sell. All of the proceeds from these items will go to the Idaho Food Bank too!
Also, Pfaff is sending 20 of their new Passport Sewing Machines. They will be set up in the StitchinTime classroom so people can sew on them and make more of these small quilts to give back to Buckboard Quilts so they can continue to do these trunk shows to help feed the needy. You can bring a 9" x 12" piece of fabric and Stitchin'Time will cut some applique pieces with the Go Cutter. You will be able to stitch up some pretty cool and exciting quilts for a great cause.
If you are interested in displaying a quilt in the "Quilt Walk" please contact Stitchin'Time for a list of merchants willing to take responsibility for and display your quilt.
